Greater Louisville Association of Realtors Homes Sales for Jefferson County Kentucky, Bullitt County Kentucky, Oldham County Kentucky

The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors® (GLAR)released April 2013 statistics which showed a 23%
increase in the number of homes sold in April 2013 (1300) versus April 2012 (1054) and a 41% increase
compared to April 2011 (921). Prices are relatively stable, with the year‐to‐date figures up 1‐2% compared to
last year and the monthly averages down slightly due to the mix of homes sold. Inventory levels are about the
same as a year ago, but members are reporting an increase in sales where multiple offers are received.GLAR
President Paul Ogden noted that, “properties that are priced competitively and are also move‐in ready are
selling in less than 30 days.”He also added that, “homes that are not as attractively priced and staged are
typically on the market for 3‐6months or more.”
