Quick update on the KHC HHF DPA $10k grant available here in KY. I just spoke to my contact over at KHC, they have rougly 400 – $10k grants to give out and so far they have given out less than 20. Get going people but this is what you need to reserve a grant:
1. A ratified and accepted contract
2. Mid credit score of 640
3. Can’t make essentially more than $85-90k a year
4. You have to keep the home for 5 years before it is fully forgiven.
5. If you sell before 5 years it turns into a $10k loan automatically.
6. 0% interest rate for 1st time home buyers which means you have not owned in the last 3 years, then you qualify.
7. Only counties allowed, Christian, Hardin, Jefferson and Kenton
8. No new construction
9. Property has to be previously occupied – no foreclosures
